WOW! What a weekend we had in MIA!

Friday we saw Claude VonStroke and Dixon at The Electric Pickle. As usual the Pickle showed us a great party with the high energy sounds of Claude upstairs and the mesmerizing beats of Dixon downstairs. I have to say you really can’t go wrong at the Pickle, they always have top quality DJ’s. No matter what sound your into, besides progressive house and trance, your sure to get it at the Pickle and it’s sure to be QUALITY! You ain’t gonna hear no Deadmou5 or Gui Boratto in this place mutha’s!

Saturday night we were very excited to attend the closing party at Club Space. The only thing I can say about that night was GUY GERBER KILLED IT! I don’t really remember who else played, I think Boris and some other people but they all were just playing typical New York style house and progressive house which really does nothing for me. Guy on the other hand was playing just how I like, a bit of Tech house with a touch of Techno and a whole lot of atmosphere, echo, looping and build ups…Unfortunately we only stayed til about 4:45am but I really couldn’t dance anymore, or even stand up on my two feet at that point… As we left I felt a sort of deep sadness along with a great happiness knowing that there are still great parties, great DJ’s and great party people in Miami and even though Space is closing down the memories will always be there, plus it is re-opening soon so we can all attend the grand re-opening of the Club Space with Danny Tenaglia on October 9th, lalala…

I have to say I had the best time this year at the WMC. The party’s were good, I was in good company and I did everything I wanted to do without getting too drunk or exhausted. My favorite party had to be The Sunday School for Degenerates. The line up was off the hook! Outside was deep and funky with DJ’s like Vincenzo and Tom Middleton, while inside you had a harder feel with mostly techno and tech house. Mathias Kaden killed it inside and Agoria was also a highlight for me. The Get Physical Party was very good as well, their stage was the best by far with huge LED screens showing crazy, trippy, colorful visuals that kept you in awe while listening to some seriously good tech house and house from top DJ’s such as the Italoboyz, Jesse Rose, DJ T. and Matthew Dear. The Circoloco was pretty epic as well, DJ Sneak was amazing…
